Aga Rylik, now 15-1-0 (11KO) of Poland, won a 10-round
unanimous decision over Eliza Olson, now 7-3-2 (2KO),
of the United States, and won the WIBF Junior Welterweight
title. JollyDee's Report: The women boxers fought
for both the vacant WIBO Junior Welterweight world title and
Rylik's WIBF junior welterweight title. The bout was
qualitative and balanced as well. Rylik's jabs were dominating
the match but the Olson was better in in close fighting and
her uppercuts were very dangerous. At the beginning of the
match, Rylik was dominant, however in the middle of the
fight Olson, succeeded in taking charge. In the end Rylik was
able to take on the match again because of her stamina. When
the fight ended, both boxers believed to be the winner. On the
cards Rylik was the victorious (98-94, 98-94, and 97-94)
however in my opinion 97-94 was the most objective.

Report by Jolly Dee: Poland's world champion, Agnieszka Rylik
faced a relatively
untested American opponent, Ragan Pudwill, in Rylik's world
title defence. Rylik looked fierce in her traditional black boxing attire.
In the first round, it was a tentative round for both fighters.
Rylik gauged Pudwill's ability, before looking to step in. In the
second round, Rylik became more aggressive and began to dominant the
round. Rylik began scoring at will, stepping in and out with great
accuracy. Pudwill on the other hand looked blown already, getting
hit with alarming frequency. In the third round, Rylik delivered
hard and often blows. Pudwill was dropped in this round, but managed
to get up and taking the count and was saved by the end of the
round. In the fourth round, Pudwill was dropped again early in the
round, and allowed to continue. But, the next knockdown spelled the
end for the American's game challenge. Agnieszka Rylik, Poland,
KO4 Ragan Pudwill, United
States. This was a 10-round scheduled fight – Junior Welterweights
– defense WIBF. Rylik improved her record to 12-0-0 (11 KO), and
Pudwill fell to 3-7-0. Logged

December 14, 2001 - Philadelphia, PA
BUDAPEST (DEC 15) Last night, as predicted by
WBAN's Spain Correspondent, Fernando Rojo, Silvia Leon (63,90kg) was apparently no match for WIBF World Jr.
Welterweight World champion
Agnieszka
Rylik (64,00kg). According to boxing record sources,
Leon has a reported 1-0 record and has not fought in over a year.
The fight between Rylik and Leon was scheduled for six rounds in the
lightweight division, but it lasted only four. According to the
Polish Boxing Promotion, they reported the following: In the
first round, Rylik went right into an attack, backing up Leon
into the ropes, scoring with combinations, that lead Leon to circle
around around with her hands in a guarded position to ward off the barrage
of punches from Rylik. In the second round, Rylik was
basically picking Leon apart with getting nailed with clean shots that
tested her chin, and that Leon was showing little boxing
skill. In the third round, Rylik was
"winging in hooks" while her Leon was "having to hang on
for dear life." Leon was grabbing Rylik several times,
just to avoid being knocked out. According to this source Leon
appeared to have a broken nose, which lead her corner to stop the fight
after the third round. In the second's women's bout, a scheduled
four-rounder super-bantamweight bout, Bettina
Csabi of Hungary defeated Cristina Gutierrez of Spain by
a decision.
October 27, 2001 -Kolobrzeg
Aga Rylik TKO4 Kada Omerovic failed to come out for the
fourth round. The fight was a scheduled WIBF Jr. Welterweight championship
bout. Rylik improved her record to 9-0 (8 KO's).
Omerovic's record is unverified at this time.

Rylik improved her record to 7-0 (6 KOS), and Haik dropped to
7-9 (1 KO).
February 17, 2001-
Poland
Agnieszka
Rylik won a 10-round
decision against Snodene Blakeney in her first WIBF Jr. Welterweight
defense. The final scoring was 99-90, 100-90, 100-89. According to
news sources, Rylik was more technical than Snodene. There was one knockdown
in the fight in which Snodene took an eight count. Snodene fought with
a lot of heart, and endurance and came in very good shape. It appeared
that Snodene had problems with Rylik being a southpaw, and that Snodene's
timing was not up to par. Overall it was a very clean fight without any
fouls being called. Both fighters showed respect for each other at the
press conference. It was a very good fight, and it was shown live on
Wizja Sport in Poland and some channels on the UPC Platform in Europe.
