Ortiz in the second round. Isaiah Guzman of the Santa Cruz
Sentinel wrote that Moreno bloodied Sandra Ortiz's nose in the first
round, then spread it across her opponent's face with stiff jabs and
crosses until referee Marty Sammon stopped the fight 1:12 into the
second round. Another women's bout found Crystal Hoy and
Sosadea Razo brawling non-stop for a four-round draw.

four-round majority decision over
Crystal Morales, 128. In a another sellout crowd for
Roy Englebrecht Promotions, and a huge success for the California
State Fair, as a capacity crowd of nearly 3,500 fans filled the Cal
Expo Rodeo Arena Sunday night. In a great action fight, Santa Rosa's
Sosadez Razo scored a majority decision win over Oxnard's Cristal
Morales. The two spent all four rounds standing in the center and
exchanging punches.

Santa Rosa. McGee was originally supposed to fight against

unanimous decision over Nicole Conant of Las Vegas, in
a scheduled Four round bout. Toughill dominated the fight and
walked away with a clean 40-36 on all score cards.Toughill
is now 3-1-1, and Conant slips to 1-1-0. Also,
Sosadia Razo won by TKO3 over
Khurel Gerelgazav.
July 11, 2002 - San Jose, California
At the HP Compaq Pavilion Center in front of a crowd of 3,913, on a Oscar
De La Hoya (Golden Boy Enterprises) card, titled "Fight Night at the
Tank" series, WIBA Intercontinental Featherweight Champion and
California State Featherweight Champion Kelsey
Jeffries, 125, won a four-round unanimous decision over Sosadia
Razo, 124, who was a last-minute opponent when Cynthia Prouder
backed out of fighting Jeffries due to a hand injury. According to Brian
Low who was on scene at the event, reported that the four-rounder was an
entertaining bout, with Jeffries ultimately being in control of most of
the rounds. Razo did give it her best, and managed to land some
"bombs" on the champion. But Jeffries kept the pressure on Razo,
and most of the time Razo would score, Jeffries would come back with
combinations, throwing them at all angles. Low said to WBAN,
"With Razo’s lack of defense, Jeffries seemed to score with just
about everything she threw." Final judges scoring was 40-36 on all
cards. Jeffries improved her record to 14-5 (2KO).
