In the co-main-event on the card, the "Hungarian Boxprincess"
Dr.
Bettina Csabi, 116.5, won a 10-round unanimous decision and
retained her WIBF-GBU Bantamweight title when she defeated Kenyan
Zarrika Fatuma, 118. Csabi out pointed Fatuma throughout the
bout. This fight was not remarkable or spectacular,
because Fatuma committed fouls throughout the match! Final scoring
was: Imre Nagy (HUN) 98:93, Venciclav Nikolov (BUL) 98:92, Ernst
Salzgeber (AUT) 99:94. In a second match, the WIBF-GBU
flyweight world champion Viktoria Milo, 111.4, won a
unanimous decision against the former Hungarian amateur champion
contender Beatrix Farago, 111.4, through four rounds.
The bout was not exciting, due to Farago trying to compensate her
less professional experience with stepping backwards throughout the
bout. This may have been too much for Farago to take on Milo this
soon in her boxing career. Milo's is now (14-4; 3KO's), and
Farago took her first loss as a professional and is now (3-1;
2KO's). Report by JollyDee
March 19, 2005 - Hotel Pelion Banqueting Hall, in Tapolca, Hungary
In the co-main
event, on the "Champions Night" card, at the , the WIBF-GBU flyweight titleholder
Viktoria
Milo, 110 1/4 lbs.,successfully defended her title against
Italian
Stefania Bianchini,
110 3/4.
The
bout was qualitative, close and balanced as well. Milo's dominated the
fight in the early rounds with her jabs. But the Italian boxer was
better with combinations. Milo's close in uppercuts were dangerous but
not too clear. At the beginning of the match Milo was the dominant
however in the middle of the fight Bianchini succeeded in taking charge.
In the end, both boxers were able to take on the match again because of
her stamina. When the fight ended, Bianchini believed to be the winner.
On the cards Milo was the split decision victorious. Final judges
scoring (Miklos Döry (HUN) 96:94 for Milo, Matteo Fratini (ITA) 96:94
for Bianchini, and Vilhelm Vogel (AUT) 97:94 for Milo. I scored the
fight at 96:95. NOT a hometown decision. Milo's new record was
13-4-0; 3KO's and Bianchini fell to 13-2-0; 2KO's. In another
match, The two-times GBU world champion Dr. Bettina Csabi, 110
1/4 lb., has maintained her unbeaten record winning a unanimous decision
against the Ukrainian former WBC CIS and Slavic Countries Super
Flyweight contender Oksana Romanova in a six-round bout. Csabi's
new record was then (23-0-0; 10KO).

Dr. Bettina Csabi fought local hero
Viktoria Milo
for vacant WIBF-GBU super flyweight title. The bout was
qualitative and balanced as well. Bettina's jabs were
dominating the match, but the Milo was better in the near
and her body shots were very dangerous. At the beginning of
the match Csabi was the
dominant however in the middle of the fight Milo succeeded
in taking charge. When the fight ended, both boxers believed
to be the winner. On the cards Csabi was the victorious
(97:94, 97:93 and 95:95) majority decision, however in my
opinion at ringside 96:94 of Csabi was the most objective.
With her victory Csabi has proved that she is in the elite,
and Regina
Halmich's official challenger. Report and Photos by

the second round of a scheduled four round flyweight match.
In the main event, Viktoria Milo, 113, 10-3-0 (2KO) defeated
by points slovakian Petra Di Jachman, 120 1/4, in a six round
Super Flyweight division. Milo dominated her opponent every round,
and stunned Jachman in the 4th round who was second division higher
than her. Milo successfully warm up for her September 25th fight
that she is set to fight Dr. Bettina Csabi for the

October 25, 2003 - Szolinok,
Hungary
At the arena of Szolnok (Hungary) and in front of 3,500
boxing fans with the arena nearly packed, Viktória Miló, 111, of
Hungary, retained her
WIBF-GBU super-flyweight world champion belt with a TKO10 against German challenger,
Maya Frenzel, 112 3/4.
At the very beginning Viktoria seemed to be cramped and her opponent had
some chance to punch her, but Milo got more precise and succeeded in hitting
the German with clear punches that really surprised the challenger. After the first minute of the
first round, Viktória started to steady and was gradually increasing her
superiority. After the first round she dominated and in the 4th round she
almost managed to knock the German out and Frenzel hardly could resist
during the remaining 2 minutes of the round.
In the rest of the rounds Frenzel did not try to do anything but keeping
clear of getting knocked out.
In the last three rounds Milo's ascendancy was so remarkable that the
Hungarian talent stood a good chance to finish the lopsided match. She did
manage to win the match before the final bell since the
referee stopped the bout because Frenzel was unable to take any more blows. Since Viktória Miló
retained her belt she has a big chance to fight the undisputed Regina
Halmich of this division. Report and photos by Jolly Dee of Hungary,
