Kinder, Louisiana Promoted by: Bayou Promotions    Wendy Rodriguez, 105 3/4,  won by a split decision over Carina Moreno, 108 1/4, after the fight ended in the sixth due to a headbutt that Rodriguez received (accidental).  The scores were 58-56 for Moreno, and 59-55, 58-56 for Rodriguez. Rodriguez won the IBA Jr. Flyweight world title (108 lb.) In a second women's match on the undercard, in Kinder, Louisiana, Akondaye Fountain, 157,  made it a short night with last replacement Veronica Rucker, 161, when Rucker was stopped 1:03 seconds in the first round. ©Copyright 2006 Alan Messick Photography
